Digital products for stationary trade
The activation code on the POSA card is worthless until the sale is made and can only be used to purchase the product after it has been activated at the checkout. The POSA and POR cards allow customers who want to give a digital product as a gift or who cannot or do not want to provide credit or bank information online to purchase it directly in the store and pay using the usual payment options.
The activation code is only activated or printed at the checkout, thus providing comprehensive security for the retailer.
And this is how POSA works.
The POSA(Point of Sale Activation) card is the packaging concept that makes virtual products such as computer game licenses or game credits tangible for customers in retail stores. The activation code can be found on or inside the card and is worthless until it is sold. Only after activation can it be used at the checkout to purchase the product.
Depending on the product, this can be activated online, equipped with further credit or downloaded.

And this is how POR works.
POR stands for Print-On-Receipt and the code is issued directly on the receipt. The customer thus receives the receipt with the activation code and a POR card can optionally be issued as packaging for the receipt or hung up in retail as a marketing tool.
